Seacomm Federal Credit Union is Hiring a Business Development Representative Near Massena, NY

Role:
Responsible for the development of new business relationships with prospective members and increasing business with present members by making personal contact.
Responsibilities:
  • Implements a call program that includes contacting existing members to maintain and expand banking relationships and contacting prospective members to develop new business.
  • Makes presentations on financial services to groups to promote credit union products.
  • Identifies cross-sell opportunities and cross-sell services to members through in-person sales sessions as well as by telephone, written correspondence, and external sales calls.
  • Maintains high product knowledge by learning new selling techniques, new products and market trends.
  • Responsible for analysis of relevant statistics for the business development plan making recommendations to management when required.
  • Represents the Credit Union at various functions to develop business relationships.
  • Performs other job-related duties required or assigned.
Knowledge & Skills:
Experience: Three years to five years of similar or related experience.
Education: A college degree (BS or BA in a relevant field) or equivalent work experience.
Interpersonal Skills: Courtesy, tact, and diplomacy are essential elements of the job. Work involves much personal contact with others inside and/or outside the organization for purposes of giving or obtaining information, building relationships, or soliciting cooperation.
Other Skills: Must have good communication skills.
Work Environment: Position entails daily travel to a variety of business locations.
Position Type: Full Time
Hours: 40 hours per week
Current Schedule: 8a-5p, Monday - Friday
Pay Range: $20.66 - $25.83
Actual starting salary will be determined based on skills, experience (to the extent relevant) and other job-related factors, consistent with applicable law.
